Amazing location. Went on a Sunday with friends and family. There was music till 8pm. A lot of local folks which really made the atmosphere better. Great cider, but you can’t taste any before ordering.

We just returned from a wonderful family holiday at Fossil Beach Farm. The location, view and sunsets are spectacular. Mitch and Lisa, the hosts on the property were super welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our tent was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the bed very comfortable. We appreciated the conveniences available on the property from the cook shack to the cribbage boards and flashlights in the tents to onsite yoga. The food and cider (available during cidery hours) was delicious and even if you're not staying here, I highly recommend popping by to enjoy a meal and ciders. We had a memorable stay and will definitely plan to stay here again on future trips to Hornby!!

Went for lunch and cider here after a long travel day for Desolation. Amazing location, beautiful location. Had the burgers that were absolutely delicious, and the cider was great….our fave was the Cidersourus! Great music too and kids ran and played. We will be back!!!

Just got back from 4 night glamping. It was so perfect in so many ways. The tents are very high class. Sleeping with the sounds of nature yet hotel comfort it really nice. The bed was so comfortable that me and my wife want to know the mattress type. The outdoor kitchen that is available is top notch. Bathrooms and showers are new and very much high end hotel quality. Do not even get me started on the actual property and the views. Kids had a blast and no TV and technology.....no problem for 5 days. Loved everything about it. We want to make this an annual trip now.

My husband and I had a fabulous stay at Fossil Beach Farm, glamping in the spacious Straddie tent. We throughly enjoyed the beautiful ocean & sunset views from our tent, the very comfortable bed and the sounds of nature.

The hosts Mitch and Lisa were so lovely and hospitable. Mitch recommended a bunch of places on the Island to explore during our stay, and Lisa provided us with a wonderful private cider tasting.

The cider and farm to table food were excellent. As recommended by Mitch, make sure you take advantage of the stand up paddle boards avaliable to glampers at high tide. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful property!

Grabbed a meal and a cider while visiting Hornby and had a great time! The salmon and the burger were great. Potatoes and salad were so refreshing and light. My ideal meal. The blackberry cider was crisp and sweet and dry, maybe I’m a cider person now? Beautiful location and being there on a quiet day with our dog made for a relaxing afternoon in the sun.

Came for the BBQ and cidery and it was an amazing experience - from location, to the free roaming cows, to the friendly staff and atmosphere without it being commercialized too crazily...had a wonderful time. The food here was well done, and flavoured. The burger, seafood chowder, salmon and apple cake dessert tasted great. Shout out also to the kombucha and cider itself. There is a storefront where you can also buy ciders to go with the most interesting of names and stories behind it. Must visit when you are here - it is an adventure going to the gate until you reach the actual site with lots of gates to prevent the cows from leaving.

I’m not typically a cider drinker but heard their BBQ and setting was worth the stop. Did not disappoint. BBQ was great, All the items we tried salmon, beef burgers and cider were fantastic. All the staff were great, friendly and helpful. Love the picnic like atmosphere. Next time will try their glam camping as their tent rentals looked very comfortable.
