I tried to discuss an issue on the phone with an estate lawyer and the office was dismissive and rude. The only acceptable interaction was with the receptionist who at least listened and tried to get me to the right place. The first lawyer I spoke to brushed me off and sent me to an associate's voicemail. When they called back that night she couldn't be bothered to listen and practically made fun of me for wanting to get the process done as soon as possible (If you read this two weeks is quick when dealing with lawyers). Thank you for the price point to base off the services but I most certainly will never go here.

Carlo spent a lot of time and effort free of charge trying to mediate a dispute on my property sale a year and a half ago that was based upon a separate life lease agreement that the purchaser no longer honours.
That kind of service is very rare these days!

Great group, Carlo has taken care of all my real-estate purchases. Has caught a lot of mistakes on my part and / or missed details. Extreme attention to detail, QUICK when we needed something rushed. When I hear of a lawyer, I think blood sucker and money hungry. However, with Carlo, I feel treated fairly with my best interest in mind, like a friend. Amazing people that will fight for you.

I worked with Carlo on a vanilla financing transaction where he was an agent on behalf of one of the two principals involved. Carlo requested what appeared to be an atypical diligence list. When asked about the merit of certain requests, Carlo opted not to respond directly to the questions asked of him. Instead, Carlo raised his voice at the other lawyer, used profanity, and levied verbal attacks and personal insults on one of the principals involved. In the end, the diligence in question was not required, the relationship of the two principals was harmed, and Carlo’s fee came in ~30% above the other lawyer’s fee. For a straightforward real estate transaction, I recommend you go elsewhere.

What a horrible experience. Took 3 months to complete a simple sale of property and we were given completely incorrect information by Lindsay (Carlo) that caused my husband to have to get a 2nd certified cheque with only a few hours notice. When he told her this, she said I clearly didn't listen because she never would have given that information. I even questioned what she had told me at the time because it was different from the process which I had followed in the past, but she assured me that the certified cheque did not need to be in the name of Flett Beccario, that we could put the sellers name and actually told me we could pay him before the sale was even finalized! Do not recommend at all.
