ENT LLP, was engaged by our Board to be our new auditors. Mr. Seemant Thakkar, attended our recent AGM on December 19, 2024.

I asked Mr.Thakkar a very basic straight forward question that I believe any auditor would be easily able to answer. I asked Mr. Thakkar to provide an explanation to support the line item of AR on our audited FS. Specifically, as an owner I was concerned about the year over year increase in our Accounts Receivables and wanted an explanation as to what was causing the significant increase in the AR Ledger line item on the FS.

Mr. Thakkar was not able to provide an explanation he was unprepared at the time of the audit presentation. Mr.Thakkar said he would get back to me through our Board with an answer, and that never happened.

As a result of this, I had to file a CAT- Tribunal case to request records. I was able to finally obtain answers, however at a financial cost to myself. Our Board, hired a lawyer to represent them at the Tribunal.

For unit owners who may not be aware, the auditors are hired and engaged by the Property Managers, acting as agents of the Board the "Condo Corporation".

Needless to say, I am very disappointed with Mr.Thakkar.
