My wife and I first encountered Drysdale Bacon McStravick LLP about 1 1/2 year ago. We were in the process of selling our house and needed a lawyer to handle the paper work. My wife had chosen DBM to take care of it. We were taken care of by Steve Berceck, since he was the one who is the property lawyer. He and his staff were on the ball. We didn't have to worry about anything. When it came down to closing, we went in and he explained every expense and what we were going to end up with plus we had him handle our townhouse buy. Since this first time went really smoothly we used Steve again now that we've moved again. Steve and his staff member Natalie Stoikos did another exceptional job in handling the paper work for the sale of our townhouse and the purchase of our condo. Plus whatever is owed back to us during the purchase and buy contract they directly deposit into our bank account. Moving is a pain so having to have the paper work done worry free is a huge bonus.

DBM is amazing - highly recommend!

For years, DBM has been my first point of contact, or recommendation, any time something comes up related to real estate or family wills and estates, and every time I come to them or send folks their way, I am reminded of why that is.

The team as a whole is fantastic - from the moment you step foot in door to have your ID scanned, to the moment you receive your completion email from your conveyancer!

Their team of lawyers are highly skilled, knowledgeable, professional AND personable (which in my opinion is crucial in this industry!), and their admin and paralegal crew truly make the company go round. They are so good at what they do! Clear and consistent communication, timeliness, kindness and fulsome support. It is clear how experienced and knowledgeable they are on this work.

People always ask if they should use a notary or lawyer for these matters - I will ALWAYS suggest the latter for peace of mind, and DBM has always provided that to me during any business I have with them. They have left me feeling confident and empowered in my matters.

I would not recommend this law firm to anyone. The lawyer handling my divorce settlement quit the firm two weeks prior to a critical date. The replacement lawyer despite my three reminders missed setting a court date by the required date and caused a major financial loss. When I complained to one of the partners they were amazingly condescending and falsely tried to download the blame onto myself. Shockingly they even charged me for the three reminder calls I made to the firm which went ignored. Read the other negative reviews and you will find this treatment is customary with this firm.
