Sat on my case for 2 years and now they're calling me to take it to small claims court.
Could have done it 2 years ago and maybe I would have my money.
Do not waste your time here while they "work the file".
If they put as much effort into collecting client money as they do calling clients to drum up business then then they would be successful.

STAY AWAY. I contacted Dixon Commercial regarding the collection of an outstanding debt owed to us. I filled out paperwork but did NOT sign a contract. Within a hour, after reading reviews, I contacted Dixon Commercial stating I did not want to proceed with my claim. In that hour they had already charged my credit card but assured me the next day that because I did not sign the contract they would reimburse my payment. That was almost two weeks ago. As per the bad reviews they do not return my phone calls or email requests. I have opened a dispute with my credit card company.

Received a call from a lady handling a file from a corporation of mine that is dead. She was being extremely rude and telling that I owed the money and can’t understand why people think they don’t owe money if the corporation doesn’t pay. Tried bullying me so I told her to quit harassing me and hung up on her.. UNBELIEVABLE!!

Waste of money…
This was the biggest waste of money ever. Dixon promised you the world. There is nothing that this company will do for you to recover your money. They are in the business to collect massive membership fees and then do NOTHING! They have misleading advertisement “Accounts listed over three hundred dollars are collected at only ten percent with guaranteed results”. They do not try to collect for months until you are basically forced to go into 'phase 3', it's when they might put some effort, which I doubt, as they will get more commission. Not a single penny was collected by them, no proof of working the files ever provided, employees have extremely demeaning tone when you ask for any update or any kind of supporting documentation for the work. Before signing up with them, your phone will be flooded with calls and voicemails from their sales department with all fake promises and once you sign up and paid their membership fees, they never answer your call, never return the call even if you leave 100’s of voicemails. They say online portal has everything but believe me literally there is nothing, not even debtors name, how much they owe, what progress have been made so far, nothing. Whatever you do, do not do business with this company. We have horrible experience with them and deeply regret ever selecting them. If I could rate them negative that would have been more appropriate.

These people are criminals. Avoid dealing with them. After I canceled my services with them they are still trying to collect money from my deptor. (Spencer is the worst there) They are money hungry bunch of dudes working from someone else’s basement and will collect fees from anyone. Including their own customers. They will promise you mountains just to get you to pay their fees but they are not capable to collect for you. Bad business. Would Not recommend.

Used this company for many years to help collect for our business. At first they seemed to be ok, I was given different information by different people including being told they could not email details, but then told by someone else they only email information. I had not received any updates for quite some time and when I called to get an update I was spoken to very rudely as I was not aware of which collector was handling the clients I was calling about. When I explained I had not been advised who was handling the accounts as no one had reached out to me, and the online portal did not provide enough information, this is why I was calling to get these details along with updates, I was responded to with a heavy sigh and then transferred to a collector. I explained the reason for my call and was again met with attitude and scolded because she didn't handle those accounts. I was very taken back with how their lack of communication externally and internally was my fault, and where the attitude came from. I received a call from their sales department a short time later and when I explained to her why I would not be using their services, she again told me it was my fault I didn't know who was handling my accounts, even though I was never provided information, and when I tried to get this info, I was treated very poorly. I advised I would be happy to speak with a manager about it. I then continued to receive multiple calls from sales and each time had to explain the same situation, clearly no one had taken my complaint seriously or made any notes on my account.
When I called to ask about closing some accounts, I was advised to just send an email with the request, there wouldn't be any fees as my contract was over and I was not renewing. I did this and then received a bill for closing accounts. I spent months trying to get someone to call me and discuss. I still get emails and calls from time to time asking if I have new accounts to submit....

While everyone has their own experiences, I feel it's important to share mine.

I've been a client with Dixon Commercial for several years without any major issues. They handle collections and credit bureau reporting, and typically, I've had no complaints. However, my recent experience has been disappointing.

A miscommunication in an email I sent 6-9 months ago resulted in Dixon Commercial invoicing me $900 unexpectedly. I was surprised because I've never received invoices from them in the past unless it was for a renewal. When I contacted Customer Service to dispute the charge and clarify the misunderstanding, they insisted they do not have a dispute process and all invoices are final. I had attempted to resolve this situation with the manager Samantha however she refused to acknowledge the misunderstanding. They insisted on keeping the invoice active, citing my email as evidence. Despite explaining that it was a genuine miscommunication and attempting to resolve the issue promptly, Dixon Commercial refused to retract the invoice.

After 6 months of no contact, Dixon Commercial leaves a voicemail encouraging my attorney to contact them. This indicates that Dixon Commercial is preparing legal action due to a miscommunication rather than a deliberate breach of contract or obligation.

The courts typically take a reasonable approach to such matters. A miscommunication could be considered sufficient grounds to dismiss the invoice. Therefore, it might be deemed unreasonable for Dixon Commercial to insist on maintaining the invoice. Will see what happens and keep everyone posted.

I’ve never used this company but somehow they have my number and won’t stop calling when I said I don’t know the person they’re calling for they called me a liar and demanded to know why someone would use my number then she threatened to continue calling me from other numbers
