I was forced to give this man, Mr. De Lucia, a star in order to post the following. He deserves 0 stars!

Mr. De Lucia, acting as a deputy judge, presided over a Small Claims Court matter I was involved in.

It should be noted that I began my case with a lawyer, but due to financial constraints I represented myself at trial. Had I have known that Judges and Lawyers lie shamelessly, I wouldn't have pursued a legal remedy. Ontario Small Claims Court is rife with corruption due to individuals like Mr. De Lucia.

Mr. De Lucia, who works from his trial notes rather than the transcripts, distorted, mischaracterized and misrepresented the facts at trial.

After reading Mr. De Lucia's shocking decision, I obtained the official transcripts from the trial. My lawyer and I prepared a 27 page complaint letter detailing example after example of Mr. De Lucia's distortion of the truth, bias and judicial misconduct. The complaint letter was sent to Mr. De Lucia's Superior for review.

Unfortunately, Mr. De Lucia's Superior glossed over my complaint letter; he failed to address the evidence I provided in an effort to protect an incompetent, vindictive bully, who should NOT be on the bench.

Mr. De Lucia, repeatedly, fabricated witness testimony throughout his decision. He actually made up testimony then included it in his decision: this is a fact! Mr. De Lucia cherry picked or ignored evidence, entirely: this is a fact! He ignored witness testimony that was supportive of my case: this is a fact! He threw a heavy folder containing my evidence across the bench hitting me in the wrist: this is a fact! And there were many witnesses.

Mr. De Lucia changed my pleading and doctored evidence in an effort to help the other party, who was represented by counsel, I was a Self-Represented Litigant. The Defendant claimed to have videos of me harassing him, yet, these alleged videos never surfaced at trial. When I pressed Mr. De Lucia about the video evidence he said he "doesn't care."

Mr. De Lucia lacked impartiality. He had an agenda. He did everything possible to assist the other party, represented by a young and inexperienced lawyer. He was definitely looking out for her. It should be noted that the Defendant did not prove his case. He changed lawyers four times and like the coward that he is, did not testify because his lies would be exposed.

Mr. De Lucia fabricated testimony putting words in the mouths of my witnesses that were never uttered in court and nowhere to be found in the transcripts: this is a fact! This man went so far as to fabricate my own Mother's testimony by turning her into a character witness for the other party, an individual she testified to know nothing about nor ever having met!

This man, Mr. De Lucia, should have been held accountable for his horrendous behavior. He got away with severe bias and judicial misconduct, this time, but he may not be so lucky the next time.

My aim is to warn others who may find themselves in a court room with Mr. De Lucia. He is a deceitful buffoon and a disgrace!
