I can’t say enough positive things about Jay Hack and Davidson law. I have had two significant dealings with Jay Hack, first in dealing with the death of my mother and second with the sale of our company. In both situations, he was very professional. In 2020, Jay handled the probate for my mothers estate. This was completed with urgency and compassion and Jay was always available to handle questions from any family member.
Most recently, Jay handled the legal aspects for the sale of our company in early 2022. The sale extended over a lengthy period and Jay, along with the staff of Davidson, provided exceptional service through the entire process. Any questions or concerns were quickly addressed and advised. They were very attentive to all of the complex details of the sale and ensured peace of mind right to the closing date and beyond.

Not usually one to write reviews, but have had the worst experience working with Ian Hawes. I have worked with him in the past on other dealings and thought I would be well covered working with Davidson Lawyers but that was not the case.
Working on closing a business, I had Davidson Lawyers representing me, and was promised I would be taken care of and that they were working with the sellers lawyer going over contracts and due dilligence.
A month before the closing time on this deal, I lost all contact with them, and was 'ghosted' by my lawyer. Speaking to the other lawyers in question, they said they have tried contacting my lawyer and never once recieved a reply. After weeks of trying to contact Ian and get some resolution, with zero replies or communication, I have had to get a new representative, with only 4 days before the closing date, right in the middle of the holiday season. Thankfully there are other, professional lawyers in the area that are happy to help.
This entire dealing began in July, and is closing in January. This was not something that might have been missed or was affected by holidays.
Davidson Lawyers has put me in a costly and extremely inconvenient situation and I cant say enough how much I dont recommend dealing with them if you are looking for professional and prompt service.

I am in the process of moving to Vernon. I worked with David Schaefer and Melanie on my house purchase. They were not just easy to work with, but they were both personable and kind. Far more than I expected. Price wise - I have no idea… the house cost me so much that I stopped looking at the fine print. 😉 *Highly recommended for bedside manner alone.

I wouldn't use these lawyers at all. We have used 2 lawyers from this firm ,they could never call us back or seem to get anything done. Accepted our work to do a sub divide (knowing that was time sensitive ) then went on holidays for 3 weeks immediately after . Nothing was done in order to make it time efficient what so ever. It resulted in us being sued from buyers with deposits in place . It took them well over 7 months to complete this 2 month task
