I came to Darren based on the reviews to help me manage my dead brother's estate taxes. At first he seemed wonderful. But as the months went on I began to see that he didn't actually care. I was charged $300/hour for meetings without being told, where we talked about things like my vacation, which I would not have done if I had known. I thought he was just friendly but I was on the clock. Then I was helped by Anne (Darren was too busy), who kept forgetting to follow up with me. I had to keep calling and calling. At first they did only one return and I had to remind them I need 2 (the pre death + after death). That took more time. But. More important. They made a huge mistake on the returns. They put the wrong address. This mistake led to it taking an extra few months to get the Clearance Certificate. They took no accountability. No real apology. And no help. I sent a long email to Darren laying out all my concerns. He never replied. I spent many hours trying to fix it. in the end it was never fixed. I had to GO to the wrong address and ask those people to hold my mail. They received my cleance certificate. Can you imagine? Darren was also supposed to help me manage accounting for a trust for a minor. but Anne never called back. Literally. She just forgot I existed. Weirdest most disappointing experience ever. Especially all my grieving my only brother.
