Today was my 3rd visit to Chemainus Family Dental. My experience has been outstanding, in terms of the professionalism of the staff and Dentist. Very efficient, great communication, empathy and gentleness during my procedures. Little things, like text reminders of the appointment, a warm greeting at the front desk, valuing my time by not having me wait to be cared for with a booking, and then, really importantly, giving enough time for the local anaesthetic to take effect before going to work... These things really help a 'nervous patient' like me, to get through it. Having a printout of how best to manage my own aftercare, and being willing to discuss it with me, I'm recovering much quicker than during similar procedures, elsewhere...

I’m delighted. Such kind and considerate care. Today, with a filling loss, I called to make an appointment. My husband coincidentally has an appointment tomorrow morning. I booked my own appointment for the afternoon but they called back to arrange for us to come in together instead. 👍

Chemainus Family Dental made a special appointment for me to have a tooth examined 2 days before Christmas. They did a marvelous work on it and gave me excellent advice

Went there for a cleaning after being a customer for over a year. Hygienist did not do the back of my upper teeth, which was the worst, I can feel the crud still. She wanted to measure my gums which I declined, so she demanded that I sign a waiver that I declined, not letting me read what I was signing, after I demanded to read it I refused to sign. I had an appointment right after for a check-up which I was going to ask the dentist about the crud still on the back of my upper teeth. The hygienist informed me that the dentist does not want me as a client and ushered me to the front desk. Not happy with the quality of the service and the way I was treated by this woman!

First time had my teeth cleaned in Canada. They have been in the business around 40 years. Friendly and professional staff. Yes, they are busy but don’t worry. Their front office called me and offer me an early appointment and I really appreciated. I have been served with Kathy and my teeth feels great! Thank you so much for your service.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Happened to be in Chemainus on vacation from out of province, and they took me in same-day for a sudden cracked tooth. Got the x-rays, examination, and filling all done in one appointment. Saved my vacatino. Thanks Dr. Arslan and team.
