Had a phone consultation with Sal Caramanna, who told me he'd call me back in an hour but then ended up calling me the next day without prior notice while I was at work.... I had multiple consultations with other firms and he did not take the time to listen to my situation, making sweeping statements that featured worst case scenarios that made me very anxious. He was quick to let me know his retaining fees ($3000+HST) which I decided not to go with. My situation was not a big deal as he made it out to be and didn't even need legal consult. Lawyers probably see the worst cases since that's how they gain clients but it left a bad taste in my mouth as the other firms I was calling took the time to listen to my predicament even if it was just for a few minutes before letting me know if I would need their help or not, and gave me options on who to call or whether retaining them was needed
