We were dealing with the lawyer Mr. Roderick Brown for my dad's estate. He wanted his money $2500,00 up front. His secretary ended up quitting and his phone and internet got shut off for non payment a few months ago. I had to chase him constantly to try to get answers since his phone was disconnected. I talked to him on his home phone then a week later he closed up. So he has our money for a job he didn't complete and left everything a mess for us!!! We are still trying to figure out where our files are for my dad's estate. You are supposed to be able to trust lawyers and with me talking to him a week before he closed shop he didn't even have the balls to say something to me. We have been told he claimed bankruptcy so we can't even go after him for our money back!! In my opinion what he did to us is fraud. I feel he was planning this all along especially with his phones being disconnected because of non payment!!!
