If you’re considering hiring this lawyer, I strongly urge you to do thorough research before proceeding. Take a look at reviews on various platforms, including Lawyerratingz, as it seems reviews under different emails keep appearing on Google.

Based on my experience, I would recommend recording all interactions for your records (using your iPhone or another device), as it was crucial in my case. Victoria has many reputable lawyers, so it’s worth exploring other options.

We recently reviewed hidden billable time from Brooke and found that the opposing law firm charged $2,000 for my house closing. However, Brooke claimed she had to teach this lawyer how to handle the conveyance process (as he was a rookie, Brookes own words) and subsequently billed us $22,097.35, which equates to 68 hours of billable time based on our calculations.

For this to be legitimate, the opposing lawyer would also have to bill 68 hours, as Brooke stated she spent that much time on the phone instructing him. Excluding an estimated 10 hours the opposing lawyer may have spent preparing documents, this would mean he worked for $25 per hour, while Brooke generated excessive fees. Additionally, the bills in question were prepared and initialed solely by Brooke.

It will be interesting to see if the opposing lawyer recalls spending 68 hours on the phone over a short period of time while only billing $2,000. It will be interesting to watch her defence she is on her third lawyer of delay tactics for the past four years. Anytime someone is afraid to go to court, in my opinion means they know they will lose.

In my case, I observed actions that raised serious concerns. At one point, this lawyer provided information to a judge that was knowingly inaccurate and later claimed I owed fees for "protection." Her representation left me deeply dissatisfied, and I have chosen to document and share my experience to inform others.

It’s worth noting that I’ve since been threatened with defamation for sharing my experience. However, as far as I understand, truth is not defamatory. I’ll continue to update on the legal proceedings, including the taxation process and the associated bills, for public knowledge. I also plan to share transcripts that demonstrate instances where this lawyer knowingly misled a judge. I asked her lawyer to prepare the pleedings and I would pick up and counter-sue and no word from her defence lawyer.

In my opinion, it’s crucial to exercise caution and explore alternative legal counsel to avoid similar issues. Imagine th people that removed their reviews in fear of intimidation and bullying by Brooke for defamation. If we all start posting the facts that can be backed up we can get rid of the lawyers that give lawyers a bad name.
