Not a good experience, advisor did not know answers to questions and admitted she was junior in her role. Was to schedule an appointment, and didn't, I had to reach out to schedule an appointment and then got a reminder at 8 AM not to miss the appointment on the phone at 10 AM. No one called me at 10 AM and had to call back at 2 PM only to discover they had someone else call me the day before and leave a message. This did not explain why they missed the appointment at 10 AM. Not dealing with this unprofessionalism, it is hard enough to deal with what I'm going through, let alone a firm that doesn't have an email address and gives you someone that can't answer questions.

Her calm energy put me immediately at ease, she answered my questions clearly and provided me with accurate information every step of the way. She took time and care to set me up with a trustee who would be best suited to my situation. Adam Rauf was amazing, he was patient yet to the point and explained everything and the next steps in a way that I understood and felt reassured by. First let me tell you that had I known what a consumer proposal was years ago, I would've done this waaayyy sooner than this year. I always thought hearing the commercials on TV and the radio that it was like a bankruptcy and I would lose everything if I did it.

I am so happy that I was recommended to Bromwich & Smith by a friend who was doing a proposal and knew our struggles and explained that this wasn't the case.

I first got Dean who called me to do the initial phone call and explain the process and WOW what an amazing man!! He sure knew his stuff and was able to answer all my questions. He even told me stuff that my friend's first agent hadn't told her so I relayed and then she was able to do hers more smoothly. Dean provided his direct contact info for any questions after the phone call and that was definitely utilized as you always think of things after the fact. He was prompt in replying even to the texts to assure us.

We then had Rick who was the our Trustee and he was AWESOME!!! He explained the process of the 45 day period and was very knowledgeable in the proposal and our questions.

We got notice today that our creditors have accepted and let me tell you the weight that has been lifted off our shoulders.

After experiencing the harsh reality of not being able to return to work as a well paid mechanic and after running out of cash and options due to my injury and work not helping out.I contacted Bromwich and smith for options..I was put in touch with Peter and he was an inspiration of that there is ways to get better.
