After a very serious accident, we came to Bergeron Clifford, after firing another firm. The difference in communication, interaction and support was amazing (especially after our first firm). Three years ago, I was driving home from work one afternoon when I was hit head-on by a drunk driver. At that moment, my life and my families’ lives changed forever. With catastrophic and life-altering injuries, my priorities quickly transformed from summer vacation plans to surviving and only a dream of being able to walk again.
You would assume that nothing positive could come out of such a horrific experience…but it did. While I was in the ICU, my husband called a random law firm called Bergeron Clifford. It turned out to be the best decision of this journey. From the moment he called, we were continually protected by our incredible lawyer, Warren WhiteKnight. My husband and I had absolutely no idea about forms, policies, insurance regulations or even our basic rights through an injury process. We would not have been able to receive the much-needed support that we were entitled to if we hadn’t had Warren.
Needless to say, my rehab was (and still is) very extensive. At first, it was left up to my auto insurance company to arrange providers who weren’t sourced in my area and I was becoming very depressed with my progress (or lack thereof). Warren recognized this and engaged Bergeron Clifford’s extensive network of service providers. Within a few days, I had a brand-new case manager, physiotherapist and occupational therapist who are not only extremely knowledgeable about local resources but they are the BEST OF THE BEST…looking back I would expect nothing less, being associated with Bergeron Clifford.
Before this experience I thought that having an injury lawyer was simply for a financial ‘end goal’ …boy, was I wrong…they dealt with literally every aspect of my recovery and I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for Warren and Bergeron Clifford. As I am coming to the end of the legal aspect of my journey, I find it is bittersweet. I’m definitely happy to be getting on with my ‘new’ life however am a bit sad that my relationship with Warren and Bergeron Clifford will be coming to an end. Their engagement was far more than simply an injury, I was shown empathy, expert guidance and protection through the medical and legal process. For anyone that has any doubts of who to choose for an injury law firm, please trust me when I say that you will NOT be disappointed when you choose Bergeron Clifford…it will be the best decision you make, during one of the worst times of your life.

I can't thank Mr. Chris Clifford and his team enough for helping me with an LTD denial. Mr. Clifford approached his job with a very calm, competent and professional demeanor. His regular and personal communication and calming presence throughout this very stressful time fortified my resolve to continue in the process. It was reassuring to see that he obviously knew this process very well, and I was impressed with how effectively he advocated for me with the LTD lawyer during the mediation hearings. Mr. Clifford had a good understanding from his initial interview with me, what the reasonable and respectful outcome for this matter should be, and made sure there was a successful closure to my file.
