They handle our corporate tax and do an excellent job. As to fees, they are not inexpensive but I haven't reviewed other accounting firms fee structures and can't tell you if the fees are unreasonable. What I do know is that their services are extremely professional, thorough and having such excellent standards of accounting, we have breezed through any government required auditing for CRA and HST and for Canadian Global Affairs for import quota. Between their accounting and our business planning, we have been able to secure bank funds for expansion and all fairly straight forward. When it comes to accounting, their reputation goes a long way to adding confidence to your businesses financial claims.

To do a simple tax return cost close to $700 and not done correctly. Unwilling to refund anything at all because the error was missing income tax paid so I get more of a refund, not the point! I had to pay another accountant to review on top of the fee I paid to BDO. They charge excessive amounts to do a return (miss things) that other accounts have said is a simple return and said the fee is $50. Now I need to check a few years back because I have no faith it was done correctly. Take your taxes and business elsewhere BDO only cares about making as much as they can off of you.
