They really need to improve their communication skills. We were sent confusing emails that were either inapplicable, irrelevent, or had to do with file(s) that we had not yet received. We were left scrambling to close the deal. It would have been nice if they had given us a better timeline of when to move the money. It seems as though they are a jack of all trades kind of firm and maybe prone to missing important details. Mildly infuriating to work with. Nice people though - which is great if that's all you value.

1. Constant lack of communication by paralegal. You are required to follow up yourself to get any updates on your own cases.
2. Missed court date due to negligence. Been waiting 5 months for a court hearing for it to be missed. The paralegal insisted it wasn’t her fault. If using this law firm you are required to follow up on court dates yourself.
3. You are required to proof read your own legal documents due to multiple errors made by the law clerk. Make sure if using their services, you yourself must have attention to detail to double check their work. Legal documents should not be missing signatures or have multiple errors.
4. Was not presented with all the available options for our case. I had to seek legal advice from a different lawyer to understand my options better. I then gave these options to the paralegal.
5. Increased our legal fees despite the issues stated above.

Would not recommend this law firm to anyone. Try somewhere in Toronto for professional legal services. Communication and attention to detail are fundamental to a successful legal representative which is not what I experienced with this law firm.
