Wanted to share my experience at Arcus Legal for anyone shopping around for a real estate lawyer, especially those purchasing their first home!! Matt Edmonds was our lawyer for the entire transaction and it was such a comfort to have him in our corner. Nobody tells you just how many people you're dealing with when buying a home; a real estate agent, mortgage broker, home inspector and the list goes on and on. Matt was thorough and we really appreciated that he highlighted the items we should pay particular attention to instead of just bombarding us with information. He was incredibly responsive and proactive which really reduced our stress. We had some issues with a faulty appliance (and some other things) on our closing date and he really went to bat for us in the negotiations, securing terms that were best case scenario. Matt had a great support staff as well, felt like we were getting all the manpower of a larger firm but with all the benefit and care of a smaller boutique firm.
