Let me start by saying that you'd initially believe you're hiring a lawyer who claims to charge $250 per hour, but you might end up having to hire another lawyer to take legal action against them.

It's pretty pathetic that, after shelling out nearly $7000 for what was essentially just a proofreading job, they tacked on a $1 transaction fee to refund what was left of my trust fund and returned $499 to my account.

It's quite annoying how they include a bunch of unnecessary people from their company in an email and charge $25 for each recipient. You'd simply send a "thank you" email and suddenly find yourself hit with a $100 charge.

It's incredibly ridiculous that when I saw my $5252.81 bill, I asked them to stop any further services, and lo and behold, my new bill turned into a neat $1500.00. I'm definitely considering a solicitor assessment.

I recommend the AGB lawyers for family law. I booked a 30 minutes free consultation with Gaetan Buttigieg that lasted more than 30 minutes, but the lawyer was a very respectful person and didn’t cut me off once the time for free consultation was up. He was very honest, and helpful in providing me his advice and guidance. He responded to my questions respectfully and talked about the available options openly. He even referred me to another firm should I go with one of the options he explained. I found him a very respectful, polite, understanding, honest and open minded. Horrible experience! The lawyer I met with at the firm seemed good the start. Then she got to busy with other clients and would take weeks to get back to me. They are not afraid to send invoices out but refused to show me an itemized bill for the services rendered. Even after requesting one numerous times. Just before I took my business elsewhere I topped up my retainer. The receptionist told me the remainder would be mailed to me along with a bill. Still haven't seem either items. That was 2 months ago. Horrible experience!
