Le motel est situé en "centre ville" dans une zone en travaux, il n'est pas très facile à repérer.||Il n'y a pas d'accueil sur place, il faut récupérer la clé à la station service à côté.||Chambre sans charme mais propre.||Etape obligée dans cette région de transit, le Nice Motel est un hébergement sans désagrément même s'il ne suscite pas l'enthousiasme.

C'est charmant, mais il n'y a pas d'air climatisé alors à considérer lors de journées très chaudes/humides. Cher pour ce que c'est, mais tout de même agréable 🙂

The exterior of the checkin didn’t look so great, but inside there were the kindest people working! There was also an exceptional selection of artwork for sale. Our room was clean, updated with a full kitchen, bathroom and very aesthetically pleasing! There was a restaurant (Andreas) around the corner walking distance serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Also- Go to the Sign Post Forest!

This is the place in Watson Lake. A hidden gem behind the gas station and across the street from the sign-post forest. Our second floor room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, big bathroom, and full kitchen (no elevator/lift). The staff was friendly and there were no surprises. Watson Lake is a tiny town and this tiny hotel fits perfectly. The 3-star hotel rating is a stretch. I would say 2-star is more appropriate. The parking lot is gravel and can be muddy due to weather. The price was right.
We give it a 5 star satisfaction rating and we would happily stay here again.

A mix up a bit further South with anticipated accommodations left us scrambling to find a place to stay but “A Nicer Motel” had 2 rooms. The rooms are clean and have collected furnishings that are unique. A Indy bed, small table and kitchenette were handy and a welcome fan as it was a rather warm fall day that had the room warm. There was also a fireplace that was definitely not needed for this stay. And just a short walk away to the Nugget restaurant for a bite to eat. Friendly staff and a restful night.

We were on a quick trip from Terrace, BC to Carmacks, Yukon and Watson Lk. was the 1/2 way point so we grabbed 1st on of the cabins on the way up and one of the rooms on the way back. Both times we got excellent service from the staff and both places were clean and well laid out...this is definitely going to be our goto on future trips up north!

This is a wonderful little motel. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but my room was exceptional, clean, and very nicely decorated. Well worth the stay. All the people working there were so sweet. Loved it!
