Mackenzie and Greg were both great to deal with for the closing documents for our home purchase. Mackenzie was super responsive and very helpful.

Family has used them twice for real estate purchases. Some hiccups in the process, but those were on the sellers end and Stillman helped us through it.

Not a perfect experience, but not a bad one.

When I dealt with this group I was in a bad spot and needed help fast. They did what they could at the time and I was not happy with the outcome. But it was my own fault. All in all they have been super helpful. Even gave me free legal advice a year later when we had nothing to do with each other. And after I left a bad review. These people are pure professionals and worth the time and money spent. I would recommend them for your needs for sure.

I had the opportunity to witness a lawyer from this firm, Erik Bruveris, in court of King's Bench for a family matter the other day. To say the least, I found his in court mannerisims to be very unprofessional and extremely rude, espcially when addressing the other client. The justice on the case also appeared to be put-off by Mr. Bruveris' unprovoked, but very rude comments to the opposing parties client. I would suggest no one hire this lawyer as his ways could clearly have a negative impact on the results any of his potential clients.

I was recommended to use Richard Smith as a lawyer. I have not regretted that at all. Richard has been very professional, and very ethical. He is not a pushy lawyer and will listen to his client and give his feedback, but doesn’t force anything.

I would recommend him to anyone.

The process to purchase property can be quite stressful. The office of Stillman LLP can make it even more stressful. As a new home owner I was not familiar with the process and the level of demand it would take even months after. I can only speak of one particular lawyer and his office at Stillman so I am unsure if the other lawyers offer the same level of service.

As a new buyer and customer I thought I was going to be provided education on what to expect and how to manage without the process being stressful. The lawyer's assistant of this office was the main issue with my experience. It is fascinating how one component of customer service can ruin the entire experience. The assistant is dismissive, inconsiderate and rude.

The in person experience started with reviewing documents and signing the documents for the property purchase. Communication via email is done up to this time. The assistant is quite short both via email and phone call.

My main issue started after I took possession. It started with the seller requesting me to pay back some funds they over paid. Not my fault, but decided to help. The lawyer's Assistant sent me an email saying to go to the bank and get a certified check. This is an inconvenience to me both in time and financially since I had to take time off work to get the check mailed to the seller. However, I wanted to get it all done and cut ties with the seller. The experience did not end there. The seller then reached out through the Lawyer's assistant again months after taking possession to request I sign a document due to an overpayment in property taxes. Again not my fault. The assistant contacting me and sounded quite demanding to just sign and complete the process promising again that the process would end after that. I at this point am stressed, feel disrespected and insulted because yet again my lawyer's office is dismissing me and acting like I am not a valuable customer. The Assistant went even out of her way to demand that I sign the documents saying "just a signature". However, my experience so far has been awful with her and the office so I pushed back. I asked them to end these ties with the seller and get them to fix their own issue not on my time or money. The Assistant then referred me to the lawyer because I was being difficult. The lawyer then called me to discuss in a calm way and explain the process. I shared my frustration with the service I was getting. We made the decision that we would stop the process and let the seller handle it.

One month passes and the lawyer is calling me yet again about the same issue. I have had enough at this point and decided to end the process by authorizing him to sign the document. I then request that my Lawyer's office never contact me again.

In summary, make sure your lawyer's office knows about your needs and stand up to yourself. As a customer you deserve some kind of respect. I unfortunately did not get that here.

The frontdesk staff in this office is horrible, made us feel like a nuisance. We came in one time, chat a little bit about why we were there, we showed up 30mins prior to our appointment, she tried to fit us in, thanked her for that, but she dismissed us right away, didnt even looked at us,didnt asked us to sit down.
We sat ourselves down, and came the legal assistant who was not very accomodating either. We understand theyre busy but they work in customer service you would think theyd at least sit you down when you come in and walk you through the process. Christopher Hoose, the lawyer was very nice and thorough.
