Debbie Leah is both an outstanding realtor and person. We came across Debbie’s name after doing a web search for well-reviewed local realtors. We were looking to buy our first home in Cochrane, and wanted someone that would: 1) listen to our needs, 2) provide us with sound advice, 3) have thorough knowledge about the town, and 4) make us feel like we are a priority, despite having other clients. From our very first interaction with Debbie, she lived up to her clients’ testimonials. Debbie was always very quick to respond. She was reliable, in keeping her commitments to meet and speak with us. And with over a decade of experience as a full-time realtor in Cochrane, she knew the city and its housing market through and through. Debbie was never pushy, and always provided us with her honest perspective. When we had decided on the perfect home for us, there was already an offer in on our place! Despite the fact that it was a long weekend, and Debbie was on vacation, she stayed up until all hours of the night preparing our offer to make sure we didn't miss out on the house. And she continued to stay in contact all weekend to help guide us through the process. She helped to make sure that we did not overspend on the house even though there was a competing offer, and celebrated with us when they accepted our offer that was within the limits of what we wanted to pay for the house. Debbie always took the time to fully explain any questions, made sure we were well-protected in our investment, and upon request provided us with recommendations for mortgage brokers, lawyers and inspectors, all of whom were great! During our 24 hour walkthrough before closing there was a minor issue and Debbie took care of everything to make sure it was resolved and as it was supposed to be. When we were ready to move Debbie lent us her truck and trailer at no cost, and even helped us move our furniture out of our old place. To say that Debbie went above and beyond the call of duty to make this a positive experience for us, would be an understatement. Now that we are settled into our new place, we couldn’t be happier. The only downside is having to say goodbye to our realtor, Debbie, who now feels more like a close friend. Thank you Debbie for everything, hope to see you around town!
