Used them when l bought my house. Paid $2500 to do all the work myself. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. Had nothing but issues from start to finish.

Definitely do not recommend this firm to anyone.

I am deeply disappointed with the treatment my family received at Todd & Drake LLP Cold Lake, AB by the lawyers. From the moment we entered the office requesting a Power of Attorney, both lawyers showed a lack of respect for my elderly parent’s dementia diagnosis, failing to accommodate his need for support. Despite explaining that both adult children were present to protect and assist him multiple times, one lawyer screamed at a family member to leave the room, disregarding the senior’s vulnerability. The lawyer who screamed at the family member in front of the senior, caused unnecessary distress to the entire family. This experience was incredibly unprofessional, unethical, and lacked the compassion one would expect when dealing with a vulnerable client. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking respectful and supportive legal services. We have also filed a formal complaint with the Law Society of Alberta.

I am writing this on behalf of my partner and a friend who contacted Todd & Drake through their phone number these pasts few days. We do not recommend them and the reason is simple. They are rude on the phone if they know they cant help with what you're inquiring about and will suddenly try to end the conversation quick or will just end the call abruptly without saying goodbye or have a nice day or whatever. That is the worst way to lose a client and that is, by not giving the best customer service each time someone inquires through the phone.

I hired Kelsey in December to work on an issue that needed immediate attention. We made a plan and got started with the promise that we would he filing by end of Janurary. Checked in April for progress and was told nothing was done. Next I heard, July 12 , she was withdrawing and returning work she had done. Today I got my final letter with my bill and no work completed. Half of my retainer was spent and a small 100 discount for not having the application draft she claimed to be working on.

I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment the same day (shortly after Christmas) to get some documents certified. They were polite and the rates they charged were the cheapest I was able to find in town. I was in and out very fast and am very pleased.
