Terribly disappointing. I reached out to Karmelle for an urgent matter, and after several attempts to phone and email, finally heard back to book a meeting. When I responded via email (and then text), to book she literally never got back. I let her know the matter was time sensitive, but that didn't seem to matter. Save yourself the money and hassle, and find someone else!

Karmelle was fantastic to deal with for our recent house sale beginning of June 2022. Her tenacity for ensuring the sellers lawyers were on the ball and her communication with our realtor and us was above and beyond, especially when things were out of hours. Paid Karmelle her fee upfront as arranged. After that Karmelle was out the window.
My bank requested a purchase order for my condo, Karmelle never replied to their request via email or phone so I sorted out the issues with my bank on my own.I have requested my documents 3x via email with no reply.I will need these in the future for legal, tax, bank or real estate purposes.
What a shame seemed like a responsive and nice woman now she won't return my emails. Not sure what's up

I had a terrible experience with Karmelle. Her several errors in filing our straight forward divorce resulted in huge undesired life changes (ei. my Visa running out and having to return to Canada, when the whole point of hiring her was so I didnt have to leave my home in Australia). On top of this, I felt an attitude with nearly every interaction, which were rare as taking 5 weeks to get back to you is pretty standard.
Save for yourself the stress and dont skimp on the price of the lawyer.

Karmelle was quite rude to deal with on numerous occasions. It was very difficult to get any sort of documentation from her. After the sale of our house went through it took weeks to get our payout which we had to request on multiple occasions. She basically disappeared after she was paid. Do not use this lawyer.

Absouletly Awful. She starts out as if she reallly cares and has compassion for her clients but does not follow through with anything. Its almost been a year now since trying to get my divorce done through her and after regular requests on where she was at with my stuff and when we were meeting i finally found a new lawyer. She a very good excuse maker/ her life has been shambles / lots going on.. the list goes on and on
She has no time management and unless you are ready to pay someone to babysit her in getting things done its not worth your time.

There are many other lawyers in cochrane that will be sure to get your requests done in a timely/ appropriate manner
