I was "downsized" from one of Canada's top 5 companies. After a 14 year career of success and winning many accolades along the way, all it took was a 30 second conversation...and I was out. The package offered to me was spun as "industry leading", but I knew my worth was much more.
Gurkirat at Kent Law was my lawyer and he really worked hard to ensure I got the right settlement. Methodical and even keeled, he knew when to push opposing counsel and when to step back...and mind you he was going up against some big guns in the legal arena (my old employer has very deep pockets...). After several rounds of back and forth negotiation, we came to a resolution.
