Do not work with this company. They turned in my 2024 Quebec taxes late this year and I ended up with over 1500 dollars extra to pay due to his late entry. I called, emailed over 20 times in April to ensure my taxes were submitted on time. Mr. Cattichio finally reached out 2 weeks after the due date and did not submit my taxes until mid June. He had no explanation for his lack of professionalism. I am reporting him to the CPA syndicat due to his negligence. Be very careful choosing a CPA in this town.

I'm sorry to say but my wife's experience with this accountant was less than satisfactory. Although he seemed knowledgeable and reassuring at first, there was a lack of communication when it came to actually doing the work, particularly tax filings. Despite our repeated attempts to contact him, we often ended up speaking to his voicemail.

While the accountant's professional history suggests he should be reliable, his lack of communication really let us down. We also noticed that in response to previous feedback, he seemed more focused on payment before service, rather than addressing the issues raised.

Unfortunately, due to our experience, I wouldn't recommend his accounting services. We've now found ourselves in a difficult position, having to find a new accountant to sort out our tax filings two months past the deadline, and facing penalties as a result.

I had the misfortune of hiring an accountant who turned out to be one of the most unprofessional and unreliable professionals I have ever encountered. From start to finish, the experience was a complete nightmare, and I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this individual.

First and foremost, communication with this accountant was practically nonexistent. I repeatedly attempted to contact them via phone and email, but they never bothered to respond. It's incredibly frustrating to hire someone for a service and not be able to reach them when you have important questions or concerns. Their lack of responsiveness demonstrated a total disregard for their clients and their responsibilities as an accountant.

To make matters worse, when the accountant did manage to be reached, they consistently failed to deliver the work promised. Deadlines were repeatedly missed; NO work was ever delivered over the course of a calendar year. It was clear that they had not put in the necessary effort or attention to detail required for their profession.

Furthermore, the quality of the work was subpar at best. It seemed as though the accountant lacked the knowledge and expertise needed to handle even basic accounting tasks. questions were never accurately answered, and crucial financial information was overlooked. This level of incompetence is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with sensitive financial matters.

What adds insult to injury is that this accountant still had the audacity to charge exorbitant fees for their substandard services. It was a complete waste of money and time, and I deeply regret ever hiring them in the first place. It's clear that they prioritize their own financial gain over providing competent and reliable accounting services.

In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with this accountant. Their lack of accessibility, poor communication, and incompetence make them wholly unsuitable for anyone seeking a professional and reliable accounting service. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for an accountant who will actually fulfill their responsibilities and provide the level of service you deserve.

If you have any desire to hire someone who can be relied on, avoid Michael Caticchio at all costs; however if you enjoy having your time wasted, money stolen and being constantly lied to and ignored, this is the accountant for you.
