I have considered many times putting up a review. Years later, I have decided to share my experience. My husband and I went to this office a few times, as it was close to where we were living. We both had many “shadows” (dentists words) that needed to be filled. This occurred over a few visits, that happened over a 3 year period. The last time we went we were told we both had more “shadows”. The dentist would pop in the room, drill the holes and then the assistant would pack them to fill them. Here is the thing, the last time we were told this I thought that this was getting ridiculous. Both my husband and I have had excellent teeth, and have never had so many little fillings needed until now. My instinct said something was off. We didn’t get the work done that last time, instead we went to a highly recommended dentist in the city. We had full check ups and neither of us had any cavities or “shadows” that needed to be filled. I asked the dentist, are you sure? When he laughed and said yes, I told him about our experience at Foam Lake Dental. I am angry that we had unnecessary holes drilled in our teeth! I was supposed to have 3 more according to her. Thank God I trusted my instinct and stopped going there. It has been 6 years and we haven’t needed any fillings, and have had yearly check ups. We have seen two different dentists since her and they have both said the same thing. I recommend that you make the trip to the city and get your dental work done there. Save yourself the unnecessary dental work that we had to go through. Perhaps because we have coverage we were hosed.
