My father was referred to Patricia Bokenfohr and he was very unhappy with how his file was handled. It would take weeks upon weeks to hear back via email with respect to updates on his file. She frequently adjourned Special Chambers sine die. Questioning dates took even longer to secure. It appears that her strategy involved sitting on his file until she racked up enough 0.1s from emails and phone calls. There was also an instance where she was frustrated because she was in trial over another matter and took out her frustration on me and my father via email - very unprofessional. My father advised that she did not clearly explain the ongoing procedures in layman terms. He said that he left her office feeling more confused than to begin with. She was only quick to correspond with us when it came time to render reminder notices and interim accounts.

Highly disappointed with my phone consult. I could barely hear the lawyer I spoke with during our scheduled call because her Bluetooth in her car kept cutting out… Yes, she was driving while giving me a consult. It was very distracting. It’s a shame that this happened. People reach out to these services in an emotional or stressful time in their personal lives and it’s fair to expect some sensitivity. Similar to another review left here, I felt like I was a complete inconvenience. My questions were cut off and I was spoken down to. I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else. The way I was interacted with was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable.

I love them ! I love the legal assistant and I had a very great experience with this firm and the lawyers. They have helped me with all my car accident and I would highly recommend them. Everyone should give each business a fair chance for their own experience before they read the reviews, and use them as recommendation. It never hurts to try it out and if you don't like it you have a choice to go where is comfortable for yourself. My experience has never been rude nor talk down too. Mind you I repeat the same question numerous times and I also have alot of questions. They never hesitate to answer them and they are very friendly.

If you are looking for a lawyers that do not respond look no further. Me and my ex were both given dates that’s paper work was supposed to be completed and we are now months late said paper work. Opposing counsel has tried numerous times to get in contact with no response not even as much as an email back. You will be better off googling the family laws and going at it your self then dealing with anyone is this firm. Very sad to see this kind of behaviour out of people dealing with some people’s worst times of there life’s.

Very disappointed a case that should of taken a few months if that was dragged out a year $20,000 gone down the drain for nothing and trying to get in contact with them was horrible yet every email they read they would charge you for even when HE never replied. I just wanted my house sold because of a separation. And needless to say it is still not on the market.

Not only they can quickly assess your situation but also assess your specific needs wants style and other things that make you to be you. You'll get a useful advice, not politically correct or vague one. The good lawyer is not the one who can promise you the most but who knows what will work and what will cost you more than what you'll get back.

Had a phone consult regarding family law. Very short, rude unhelpful. She talkedd down to me and I felt like I was an inconvenience and a waste of her time. Would highly recommend you look elsewhere for a lawyer!
