Went to family court. Not happy with results of court order. I regret settling less than I wanted to settle for. I am currently dealing with Ms. Solmaz as a self-represented party. Although she first presented herself as settlement-oriented, my experience has been the opposite. The matter has felt prolonged with requests I viewed as irrelevant, while urgent issues I raised, mortgage assistance, commencement of child support, and housing for the children after the sale of the matrimonial home, were not treated as urgent. I have felt pressured financially and otherwise to agree to their terms. From my perspective, this approach increases costs and conflict rather than moving matters toward resolution.
