Believe the reviews. I had to call as he was a CAA authorised IRS agent.

I reached out with a simple inquiry about US paperwork and was met with an unexpectedly rude and dismissive tone. While I understand everyone has off days, it’s unprofessional to take that out on a potential client. This kind of attitude doesn’t reflect well on your business or how you value new relationships.

Fortunately, I hadn’t committed to any services yet. You’ve just lost a solid customer—and that’s your loss, not mine.

I had a terrible experience with this dude. As someone new to the US, I was trying to politely ask for advice regarding US-Canada taxation, but his response was rude and dismissive. He refused to provide any guidance unless I visited his office, and then abruptly hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional and arrogant. I would strongly advise against contacting this person if you’re looking for assistance. There are plenty of professionals who are much more respectful and willing to help. Unfortunately I saw the review after my call & now I can say that it’s spot on

Believe the NEGATIVE reviews!

We were referred to this person by a Canadian friend who was working in the USA, which is now our situation.

We called the so-called accountant to help us with a tax amendment but, he immediately cut us off asking who did our taxes. Until now, we often did our own taxes because our case was very simple. However, without asking for any context, he rudely said that “he doesn’t work with people that do their own taxes” and hung up!

That’s as unprofessional as it gets so, stay away! Today he lost two clients although he didn’t seem to care about new business.

I was looking for a cross border accountant and gave him a call today- first thing he said its very expensive -I said ok what is your cost- he quoted me and I asked him a few more questions, because I may have been ok with the quote, but he answered very curtly to each response. I then went on to say it seems as if you don’t want my business to which he responded and I quote- “ No I don’t.”
Please do yourself a favor and avoid this rude and unprofessional environment. It seems to be a trend with this guy based on other reviews.

Mr Kamal is a trustworthy and knowledgeable professional who my family has relied on for 2 years now.

My wife is a US citizen and perm resident here in Canada. He has made our lives so easy with handling investments, cross border income, as well as the estate of one our parents who lived internationally.

The posts above calling him rude and unprofessional are from soft individuals who are ignorant to the fact that Mr Kamal is no nonsense and has a world of experience dealing with these matters his entire life.

He is excellent. Thank you Mr Kamal.

Kamal is a very rude guy , not professional at all. I would never recommend this guy to any one. He thinks he is the only CPA in the world.

Nice strategy to discredit my review, If you are not rude why other people are calling you rude - something to think about . You don't have any log because you don't have a good logging mechanism, I gave you a call twice and just to remind you , you called me cheap for filling my own returns. You are a CPA and you should have some sense of talking to people. I wanted to give you my business but I don't think any one should give you their business unless you learn how to talk , I was giving you money not asking a favor.

He was very rude on the phone and hung up on my face. Apparently he only does ITINs for his clients which makes no sense at all. I can only imagine how his tax preparations are. If you want to speak and do your taxes through a rude tax preparer then be my guest but avoid this place!
