I’m in Grade 10 and was just trying to prepare for my exams. I asked to book a study room because it was really loud and I couldn’t focus, but they wouldn’t let me use one because I didn’t have ID. I’ve used a room before without any problems, so it felt unfair, like they assumed I wasn’t actually going to study. I just needed a quiet space to do my work. The service didn’t feel supportive, and honestly, it made the experience pretty frustrating.

Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff enhance this great re-homed resource centre. Suggestions and advice are always available and the selection of books, movies etc. is vast. All sorts of activities for kids of all ages, adults too! If you can't find what you want they will try their best to get it for you. And imagine...you can rent a fishing pole or recording equipment too! Hours are great now and the Staff Picks are ALWAYS a good read. Meeting rooms available and a super audio/visual set up as well as computers and computer assistants.

“If the employment or volunteer position involves working with vulnerable people, such as children, a special check called a police vulnerable sectors check is required.” I was told this was not done with the drags you had in the library reading to children. At minimum the library should have done this. I’m never entering that library again. If I could give you no stars I would have.

Such a wonderful addition to the Meaford community! The staff is welcoming and helpful! The inside and outside sitting areas of the library are beautiful , definitely recommend spending an afternoon in the main room!

You'll love this cute little library that was recently renovated. Clean, well lit, with large windows. Ample space and meeting spaces. Very friendly and helpful staff.
