We've used this firm for years for both our personal and corporate tax accounting and filing, as well as dealing directly with the CRA on our behalf when necessary, and have been more than happy with the service and advice they've been able to provide. I wish there was a way to give minus 1000 stars and make a siren go off above this firm. We are hard working entrepreneurs who lost everything we had worked for during a growth crisis -- when over $1.4 mil in investor money started flowing in. Our lives were destroyed because of something that had never happened in the 15 years prior to Wilms becoming our company and personal accountant, financial 'guru' and finally company CFO with [at his request as an absolute necessity] a key to our offices, check signing authority, AND our personal and and company online banking password access, managment of all accounting records, invoicing, checks, deposits and so on... (AFTER he talked us into giving up what had been rigid owner-only account acessa and strict owner password confientiality) AND into 'releasing' our long time office manager as incompetent to handle the investment funds transition (whose loss we've regretted every day since) and letting him and his firm handle the payables and recievables. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Suddenly, from total financial transparency, we were hurtled into never ending financial 'anomolies' and issues -- and as I eventually discovered too late - disappearing funds and customer payments and vendor overpayments, thousands of voided transactions, account rebucketing, strange new QB account creation, 10x the number of checks written, overdue accounts, duplicate checks appearing out of nowhere...obviously a second set of checks had been printed without our knowledge, at his request as he's the one who signed them. That's just a quick overview of our experience during our time with Mr. Willms oversight while we were working 24-7 and in and out of the country to fulfill our dreams, create technologies that saved lives and protected communities, and the environment and keep faith with our investors. We lost it all under the financial 'oversight' of Wilms.
We have retained all accounting records and cheques and quickbooks audit records - emails I could possibly salvage from the years Les Wilms was "acting" as CFO and accountant and partner of his accounting firm. Anyone legitmate who would like to review them is welcome.
