This happened years ago, but since it’s tax season it reminded me of what happened to us. My friend and I were a couple of dumb and gullible teenagers at that time (around 2018 i believe) and it was the last day to file tax. My friend hadn’t filed her taxes for years and we called this place to inquire and said it will be $50/tax year. My friend had about 3 tax years so we went since at that time, it was the only accounting place near us. Before he (the accountant) started he confirmed it was $50/tax year (which by the way was already VERY EXPENSIVE at that time— this was years before covid hit and we were part time minimum wage workers). Tell me why at the end of the service, we were charged $300+!!! Again as young and dumb teenagers we just let it slide and didn’t say anything although me and my friend kept talking about it on the way home. Anyways, lesson learned, my friend started filing her taxes on time and safe to say we never went back to this place again!!!
