Dwight has completed a real estate purchase transaction and also did the necessary paperwork to incorporate our sheet metal business. We were extremely dissatisfied with both transactions. We purchased a property next to ours and a small piece of land between this property and ours was a "right of way" property which Dwight assured us that we now owned free and clear. After we had moved a shed onto this property, the rightful owner who lived on the farm behind us, got his smarter lawyer to inform us that we did NOT own the property and in fact only had a "right of way" over it! When we confronted Dwight about the mistake, he claimed that he had told us about this from the start, which was NOT what he had told us!
Then came the incorporation debacle. Dwight set up our company, told us all was good, and we believed him. At tax time, our new accountant firm discovered that the company had been set up incorrectly...specifically, the wrong type of shares had been used. When we confronted Dwight about this, he pulled out some notes and claimed that he had called the secretary at our company about the share type and claimed the she had responded "Just go with it". Not only did he refuse to take responsibility for the error, but refused to fix it without being paid an additional $700! (After charging us around $3000 originally!) To date, the corrections to our taxes have cost us over $10,000 and counting!
My advice if you decide to go ahead and use this lawyer is....record ALL of your conversations with him because he doesn't listen to what you want, doesn't remember what he told you, does whatever he thinks, claims that he talked to you about it and got your approval, and lastly, he denies the things that he did tell you....so, I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAWYER FOR ANYTHING YOU WANT DONE CORRECTLY.....USE AT YOUR OWN PERIL AND REMEMBER, YOU WERE WARNED

Nothing but good things to say about these people. Dwight Montgomery and staff are all over their business. Assistant, Lindsay McDonald is sharp as a tack and nothing gets by her. I love when people do what they say and say what they do, I highly recommend this office for any applicable law firm needs.

I absolutely recommand working with them. The owner is really nice, really took time to go with us through all documentation. But the real star is Lindsay. We had some problems with the bank sending the right documents last minute and she worked SO HARD to get everything ready on time. We'll never be able to thank her enough.
