So disappointed with this firm. Been using them for years yet ever since last year lawyers are dropping like flies without notifying clients and improper billing. I had 2 open files which are now significantly damaged as a result of the firm. Legal Aid contacted me direct letting me know they terminated the lawyer directly and multiple apologies from the firm saying files were being reassigned and no contact or reply in 4 months. Yet I keep receiving bills. I once stood by Annette and her firm but it is quite clear they are no longer reputable. My own daughter found out who my counsel was and was begging dad why aren’t you fighting to protect me and reached out direct and was told some pretty disheartening responses. The response to the review is weak and tries to put it back on the client however anyone is free to do a foi which will show the termination of the lawyers due to billing and inappropriate practices. The firm is not strong whatsoever and the child that reached out was 14 and out of desperation due to lack of response and inability to assign a new lawyer as they lost multiple back to back due to legal aid termination of their firm lawyers.
