Since the original partners of Wong and Doerksen left the firm. Everything is unprofessional. My last real estate transaction there were several errors (which I discovered moments before closing), requesting legal documents has taken months, My phone call and emails have long delays to no responses and had to chase down the current lawyer Joanna Lee and staff. Larry Wong has been my lawyer since he start this firm (30 yrs) and service was professional, correct and timely. I have left this firm. I am letting people know this is my experience and that I do not trust the legal service of Joanna Lee.

Partner and I recently closed on a condo sale and purchase. Joanna Lee represented us and did an excellent job. All paperwork and documentation was completed on arrival. We were Larry's client for a closing, Larry's assistant gave us quite a last min (right before closing date) surprise and told us our new property cannot be closed because of a clause in our mortgage. We end up having to change solicitor, and Larry want to charge us for fees that already occurred. We closed it with someone else. I can't say it was pleasant. Oh and Larry wanted to introduce me to his connections in Hongkong so they can take care of the last min surprises..... needless to say, for more money and fees.
