To begin with, please don’t try to justify your mistakes in Google reviews by responding that you’re good at what you do. I have seen some of your justifications for the negative reviews you got. We have reached C Note, and as a couple, our experience with your service and the tax returns we received was extremely disappointing.

We didn’t even get 30 percent of our expected tax returns. On top of that, your team made a mistake while filing our taxes and then charged us an additional fee to correct an error that was clearly your fault. When I questioned this, a staff member whose name I unfortunately don’t remember told me it was our mistake, not theirs. He even said that if it’s their mistake they will refund the extra charged fee, no show yet.

To make things worse, one of us received just a three-digit tax return, which is absolutely upsetting. We’ve filed tax before and have received a reasonable amount back. When I mentioned this, the same staff member asked me to send those previous tax return details to them, completely unprofessional.

Overall, this was the worst experience we've had. Train your staffs at least to be polite towards customers, the service was unacceptable.

I’ve heard good reviews about your consultancy, so I didn’t mean this as a negative post. Maybe this was just one off experience. However, I think some of your staff may need a bit more training. After applying, we felt we could have done it ourselves—it felt more like using Wealthsimple. The reason we came to a consultancy was to get proper guidance on the questions. For one question, the agent simply said, "If you want, you can." If we already knew everything about taxes, we wouldn’t have come in the first place. I wasn’t planning to post this, but even after a couple of follow-up calls, we still didn’t get a clear explanation.
