I have dealt with this law office for many years and will never again. They have lost me as a customer. I paid good money for no service at all on my last real estate transaction July 1/21. I was made to sign paperwork not completed on the sale of my home even though they had 2 months notice. Then had to chase down my proceeds of sale cheque. It has been 3 months now since sale of my house and I still have received no paperwork from this so called law office on my real estate sale. They should be ashamed. Hope they are proud of their performance. Thinking about filing a complaint with law society. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.

I called ahead to make sure notary services were available, and they were - I swear I called like 7 other places in Belleville and they all turned me away due to COVID-19. Christopher Black was a consummate professional; he was courteous and quick. Super easy process, and we distanced and took appropriate safety measures. I’ll definitely be back for any legal services I need in the future!

The amount of disorganization and disrespect from Chris is mind blowing. My ex husband hired them to file our divorce, literally just to file it for us. Apparently nobody notified him that I came into the office and signed the paperwork in November 2018 so he didn’t even file it. Chris claims he realized the issue and finally filed in March yet didn’t even have the decency to notify his client of their mistake, likely because they already had his money so why bother caring? Here we are, April 2019 and nothing has been done and they can’t even apologize for their mistake. In fact, Chris would rather not bother “listening to this nonsense” when I called to inquire about what was going on and why the process was taking much longer than it should. It seems disorganization is a common issue with this office, no wonder renovations aren’t in their budget.

So unorganized. “Basement lawyer”. Rude and quoted 1 price and final bill was more than dbl than what was quoted. Michael Black kept loosing our papers mixed with many other papers from other clients scattered all over his desk. I do not recommend this lawyer or firm to anyone for any reasons.

Most painful experience about moving was dealing with this law office. Sure they are the cheapest. This lawyer should have been free. So unorganized. This is the first time I have written a review on anybody which should tell you about how bad my experience was. Spend the money, go somewhere else.
