I walked in with out an appointment for legal service. I have dealt with many lawyers in the past 21 years. I am blown away by Yasmin Nakhuda. Honestly, the most professional, courteous service I have received. Ms. Nakhuda spent 35 minutes helping me solve my (unrelated) legal issues for free and provided so much insight. I had lost faith in the caliber of lawyers in Toronto but she has renewed my faith. I only write reviews to complain but I am shocked at how wonderful this person is.

Amazing staff. Extremely friendly. Very knowledgeable. I was with another law firm from last 13 years. In one of the transactions, Yasmin was representing the opposite side. The way she acted for her client, made me decide to move to her.
I am a very demanding client & after working with NLCI from last 2 years can say I am extremely satisfied with the service that I get from each of their staff.
All the team, Kathy, Mobina, Shamini represent the firm in a very positive way.

Our family used the services of NLCI and Yasmin Nakhuda to close our first home purchase. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The lawyer was dynamic, focused and surprisingly caring. We were not offered a discount on the next transaction as they indicated that they would not reduce their standard pricing for return clients. We chose to use another lawyer who was closer to us and cheaper though Yasmin Nakhuda had spent the time to review the status certificate and cautioned us about proceeding because of what she read in the status certificate. The bank refused to fund after we have waived the financing and status certificate review condition because the building was "red flagged". The lawyer who we had retained was not of much help and stated that it was a litigation matter. We went back to NLCI and the lawyer took the time to review our file and assisted us in recovering part of our deposit by proper guidance and direction. This law firm is truly honest, down to earth, knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely two thumbs up and certainly not making the mistake of choosing a cheaper lawyer.
