Great experience having Tanya as our lawyer. We had been raising our niece for 3 years and needed to make things legal so that we could be decision makers, add her to our family benefits and make sure that we can provide. We had some issues with the father and Tanya was able to handle it all in a very thorough manner. All my e-mail questions were answered, and I had a lot seeing as I had never had to handle anything to do with the law previously. Her assistant Rose was fantastic to work with as well. The process was expensive, but it would have been the same with other lawyers. I have read that Tanya isn't super "personal and friendly". She isn't, she's a lawyer and she's there to get a job done. We weren't looking for a best friend, we were looking for someone professional. If you're looking for a shoulder to cry on, find another lawyer. Tanya will advise you on everything that is required and she'll ensure you get results. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for help with family law.

Miss Martin entered court, dressed in arrogance and hostility. She was completely unprepared and stated child support was more important than decisions-making for the child. This lawyer is clearly unfit for family law as she sees money over the wellbeing of children. On top of it all she never responded to attempts to settle out of court. She will cost you money and not represent your best interests. I was so happy to be on the other side of the table !!
