We have been participating in the children library's summer reading program this year.

All the librarians and employees involved in the summer program have been great. My child has just learnt to read and like most parents I don't want them to lose anything over the summer.

The reading program mixes reading books, space, and secret quests and encourages reading through gamification.

The book variety in the children's library is great. They have all the regular classics you expect but also provides a lot of newer books including age appropriate bipoc and LGBT+ titles. I loved being able to take out indigenous books about their culture for my child.

The librarian is a lot of help when you are stuck on finding a book with a specific topic for the summer reading program.

It's a great place to spend time with your child.

Great Public Library. You Can Borrow Books Or Rent DVDs From Here. There's Computers Available For Use Along With Internet And Free WIFI If You Have The Password. There's A Restroom Available To Use. The Librarians Are More Than Happy To Help You Or Answer Your Questions.

Very nice place. Friendly staff. They have some good programs. Comfy chairs to sit in. Lots of children's programs and things in the children's library. They have an ongoing book sale shelf by donation which is fun to look through. Their hours are good.

My only complaint is more quiet areas for people who wish for a quiet place to read. The computers are right beside the comfy chairs and some people who use the computers are very loudly talking or listening to music blaring out of their headphones or laughing loudly at videos. They do not get asked to keep it down. It is very disruptive . I know the library is becoming a social gathering place which is awesome but what about those of us who want some quiet sometimes?

Great library. The staff is very helpful when I am trying to locate particular topics of interest, and if they don't have something that I want, they will initiate interlibrary loans - very helpful.
I am grateful to have such a good library so close by.
Keep up the fine work.

i grew up going to this libary but to have walked in there a few years later i just felt complete disapointment. the kids section completly changed, no big table anymore, no play pen that you could sit in, lay down in and read a book in, their book club seemed like the biggest disapointment, and i dont even know where their conputers are anymore. the adult section seems the same except the huge sign, if anything thats the plus to this building.

A wonderful place, the staff were always wonderful when i was a kid, sometimes my grandma would drop me off to get her shopping done, and the Liberian who was on would always keep an eye on me, or if I needed to use the bathroom would make sure no one stole my lap top when I was there, and were always just friendly and kind to us there.

I am tremendously disappointed that my mother, who is disabled, wasn't able to get into the library today! She was so excited to actually get some decent reading material however after parking in the only handicapped parking space we went through the doors and down a very long ramp to the children's area! Major let down! Then to find out we had to walk all the way around the building to the farthest corner to get into the adult area! Wow! Totally not very handicap friendly! Especially for those who are physically challenged and not in a wheelchair. So my mom actually made it to the corner of the street before she couldn't go any further. Like I said before Major disappointment. Now we know where to go in maybe our next visit will be successful? Perhaps you can do some appropriate signing to let people know where your access doors and ramps etc are for the handicapped.
