Yesterday we had a mediation session with Adrienne Lee. The past 8 months have been challenging and frustrating. Adrienne was able to work with both parties and mediate the completion of our separation agreement. She has the knowledge and experience in Family Law, a strong personality, and the ability to quickly understand the issues and create options, to allow for agreement by both sides. My experience is that Kingsley the front desk receptionist went above and beyond to help me with my paper work. Kingsley is absolutely the most warming and caring person. Kingsley deserves a plaque for her out going personally and for going above and beyond to help me with my issues. The world needs more people like her. Mediation is not done fair in my seperation case. 1st session was for 3 hours - but was cut down to 2 as my mediator involved had another case comein ans she had to attend. I had 2 sessions (2 hrs each) and majority of the time was taken by the mediator invloved to listen to my EX. She had all right to cut down the chase and listen to what makes sense and divide the time equally between both parties, she completely failed to divide the time equally and by the time we had our oppourtinity - it was always the closing time and due this pressure we were not able to discuss our issues as the time was cut short and had no opportunity to put forth our issues properly. In my case it was a complete disaster the way the mediator invloved has handled. Good Luck for anyone going in for Mediation...I would only suggest to make sure you have enough time that you have your right to in Mediation to talk.
