Currently going through the process of purchasing my first home, I have tried my best to prepare for this milestone as much as possible. I was recommended this lawfirm and after checking reviews on Google I decided to try using them. I was contacted by Rick Dilts, first impression he seemed slightly arrogant and condensending informing me of how many first time home buyers don't fully know what they're getting into and he's been doing this 30+ years, stating we would have to sit down face to face to go over what is needed. With no further information, this had me more anxious than I already was thinking maybe I don't have what I need. I spoke with my financing people who were amazing through the whole process and tried to prepare me as best as possible (fairly close to the number needed) he then made a comment in a email chain with my financial representation specifying certain "additional costs are property taxes disbursements title insurance potential PST on default insurance …. Always surprises…" now instead of roughly giving me an idea of what this would cost he just left that there and didn't respond further to emails asking what I could potentially be expecting for this, leaving me extremely anxious about this process that is already been stressful. I have decided to take my business elsewhere if I were you I would recommend doing the same or at least avoiding Mr.Dilts
