I can’t say enough about Val Hemminger. I had the unfortunate situation of having a long standing high conflict co-parenting situation with a very difficult ex. I’d been managing issues with child support and other serious family issues as they arose over 10 years already, and when another even more complicated issue came up. My then lawyer was overloaded and a friend of mine referred me to Val. This was such a stroke of luck.

Val is a great lawyer for someone who is able to trust the process and accept professional guidance. It was my job to clearly document and describe the situation to her, and then step back and let her worry about how to get there. She worked well with other lawyers and with my ex directly when he was unrepresented. My priorities became clearer as we worked together and I began to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Val was able to put a definitive end to a painful saga of dealing with a malicious co-parent and a long series of legal, financial and coparenting issues. We collected arrears I had thought were out of reach, and locked in protections against future harassment.

I can honestly say that she gave me my life back, and made it possible for me to protect and provide for my children in the way that I always had hoped for.
