Our experience with our personal taxes being done by Dustin last year left a taste so bad that we are going back to a corporate tax company, for the first time since our young adult years.
He took this office over from an excellent accountant and we decided to continue on with Dustin. We were told by his secretary that our fee would increase slightly and we had no problem with that as we are reasonable people-costs go up. We were not expecting a 25% increase in cost to us when it came time to pay.
We paid, but decided to reach out afterwards expecting some understanding as I have all my previous charges available. I was imagining a discount towards this years services. Instead I got a less than professional conversation, that was upsetting. Life has too many ups and downs to also have them with my tax preparer, over a basic tax return.
