I found Village Dental while searching for a Dentist that was participating in the new National Dental Plan.
My first contact was with Christine at their front reception desk. They were very friendly, super informative and had a true professional manner.
When I went to my appointment I was happy to find that all the staff that I met , especially Dr. Maryam were also the same. The equipment was in great condition and some of the modern full Panoramic X Ray equipment I had never seen before.
Simply stated it was a very impressive and pleasant experience - an unusual comment for a trip to the Dentist.
I will be going back with confidence in my treatment.

I have been going here for three years and always appreciate the customer service. They treat me well and work with my schedule as much as possible. I like that they call to confirm and remind you of upcoming appointments.

I honestly cannot thank Dr. Hodjati and the clinic receptionist Laurie enough for their kindness, compassion and professionalism. I called yesterday with some questions in regards to a tooth being pulled ( wisdom teeth SUCK ) and they were able to get me in there asap to see what they could do. Long story short, they got me in touch with an oral surgeon in Nanaimo, and soon I'll be saying goodbye to my tooth! I was so worried about cost and the fact that I do not have insurance, but those worries soon went away. Highly recommend this place. And again, TREMENDOUS thanks to Dr. Hodjati and the lovely miss Laurie!

I am Emily Farnswoth's father and a retired dentist. The claims that Emily makes in the review that follows this one are entirely unfounded. They are a product of my daughter's personal issues and have nothing to do with Village Dental or Lori the receptionist.

Emily asked for a cleaning appointment at Village Dental. They fitted her in as a favour to our family. Unfortunately, because Emily wasn't answering their phone, they left a message with me. I told Emily she had an appointment for the next day. I expected her to call, find out the time and confirm. Emily failed to do this. If anyone was a fault apart from Emily, it was me for expecting her to follow through on this without me finding out and telling her the appointment time. Village Dental is entirely blameless and was conducting itself in the usual and appropriate manner for a dental office.

It used to be a good clinic for my family, Dr. Mariam is awesome. But the service that the clinic is providing now has gone downhill a lot. Rude receptionist first of all.... We booked an appointment 2 months ahead. After all, Dr was not available for the exam today, they did cleaning and advised to rebook. And of course they are not available any time soon, no adjustments for the fact that it's actually their fault. Never going there again

Excellent Dental Care. Dr. Hodjati and her Dental Assistant, Kassandra, were amazing. Both of my appointments were therapeutic and relaxing. Felt like a day at the spa 😎. Very professional, polite, respectful and courteous. Excellent service.

Also, the dental hygienist, Carly, was outstanding. She took great care of my younger brother and I. She made is first dental cleaning a day at the park! Thank you Carly 😘.
Front desk is very professional and polite, especially Jordyn. She handled my paperwork with ease and scheduled appointments that fit my schedule.

Honestly, this is the best dentist office I've ever been to. Here's why:
~Lori is always there to greet me with a warm smile, always finds ways to be accomodating to my busy schedule, and sends me appointment reminders!
~the cleaning team: so friendly, knowledgable and caring.
~Dentist Hodjati is knowledgable, incredible at problem solving, has great attention to detail, is thorough and very kind.

~Appointments average 2 weeks out and often shorter depending on the need! It's amazing that I don't have to wait for so long to get into see someone like other dentists!

I live in Mill Bay and it is ALWAYS worth the extra drive to choose this dental experience.
