I can't recommend MDW Law enough! We started our journey in our custody battle in 2019, we actually had retained a different law firm ...that just wasn't the right fit for us and the cause. We "shopped" around, and we were referred to MDW LAW by another firm. Being told that with how unique our case is that they would do an amazing job representing us and my grandson. We retained MDW Law in 2020 and we couldn't be more pleased. They understood our case but mostly they believed in us! It's been a long road, however they have made it easier to comprehend. Used MDW for my divorce, my uncle is a lawyer out of the region and advised me it is worth paying a bit of a premium for the best. I was hesitant at first as other people I know hired lawyers based on a free opening consultation or a lower hourly rate which neither was the case with MDW. In the end though they wrapped up my entire divorce, settlement from my house so I could keep it and all the support issues related to my children in just six months, and even my ex-wife who was not represented felt treated fairly. I think it's like taking your car to a good garage yes their hourly rate is higher but they'll get the work done quickly and efficiently versus a place charging less hourly but taking 3 o 4 times as long and in the end you pay more. My experience with Jessie and Riley was not like the individuals experience couple reviews below regarding response time I always got a quick response with either of them or anybody else who was covering their desks. I appreciated that they would always shift work to the lowest billable rate individual on the team for what was required during the process. I can't speak to other lawyers with MDW but my experience with my lawyer, Jessie and her team was excellent. Not sure in the end if it would have been less than another firm that may have taking 2 years vs 6 months but I think it would be close enough and the relief to have it done and be able to move on was well worth the premium if there would even have been one with cheaper law firm that would have taken much longer.

I was going throw difficult time and needes legal advice and i turned to mdw law firm for it and
I had the most wonderful experience ever from start to finish they took care of everything . my lawer laura was so awesome she took go care of me and also took her own personal time away just so i can talk to her when i need to talk about something that was bugging me at that time and her team members at mdw law was fantastic as well they help me with booking appointments in to sending emails doing up paper work ect... they are the best law firm for family , issues and custody issues and ,legal seporation, and divorce, there so caring , passionate, respectful, professional, vary respectful and on the money side of things they are far most affordable, law firm and if you want the best of the best you have to go to MDWLAW thats all i can say i came out so happy that if i need help agian the only place i will go to is MDWLAW FIRM no other place there the best and thats why i wrote this blog on the mdw law firm because i think any body that wants a great experience go there dont hesitate on calling them and there all great bunch of people to work with and i cant say anymore great things about my experience there with them so please check them out and if you need help with issues call them right away they will take care of you and thats why they get a 5 star rating from me .

I can’t recommend this law firm to anyone looking for legal representation. There is little to no communication, sometimes emails would go weeks without responses. When you call and ask to speak to the lawyer handling your case, it always gets sent to voicemail right away- and you can leave one, but you won’t always receive a call back. There’s no sense of urgency whatsoever, even on time sensitive items.

Also, be sure to go over your invoices carefully.
