Staff were nice, can't say the same about the breakfast, omelette in a bun!!!! Whoever put this on the menu in my opinion should really take it off, the bun is stodgy the filling is inedible, tasteless and not in any way shape or form related to an omelette.

To the young lad on the till who helped myself my wife and grandson this morning - Thank you! Always a pleasure to see you on our commute. Very accommodating and always full of smiles. It’s not every day you are asked “Hello, good morning” “Hi are you Ok? Had a great day?” Or a general conversation at the till. He is very pleasant and always very polite! A true credit to your team young man - M&S need more like you.

Napkins and cutlery always neatly wrapped with foods and very customer focused.

I wish we could hire you ourselves.

Bought a sandwich which had a very earthy taste I think the coleslaw had gone off. I took it back and as I didn't have a receipt, even though I had come back within 5 mins, the man on the till told he didn't see what he could do as I had been offered a receipt. I left it with him to dispose of. Always get a receipt from this store. Other m&s stores will offer an exchange.

Popped in last night while waiting for my train and was looking for something specific which I couldn't find. One of the staff members approached me to ask if I needed any help, told him which wine I was after... he even suggested some snacks to go with it. He told me his name was Abby and I found him super polite and helpful, he's a credit to M&S!

Not a great M&S. The shop is quite large but has lots of wasted space, and seems to have an odd focus in terms of its product range - rather than have lots of foodstuffs which are good for when you're returning home from work and want to grab something for tea, or having lots of sandwiches and snacks for when you're off on your travels they seem to have an odd preference for stocking things like big tins of biscuits and packs of meringues. Their range of ready meals stocked in this shop is very poor indeed, and you'd be better heading to the small M&S Food in Piccadilly Gardens, which is similar to this and still not great but at least it has a better selection of products, or go the whole hog and go to the big M&S at the bottom of Market Street.
