Won’t be coming back to this place. Owner is rude and does not make you feel welcome. Wanted a $500 deposit just to be able to use the camp shower. We had family staying at the campsite just across the road and he kept warning us that they are not allowed to cross the boundary into the cabin we’re staying at, even just to spend time around a fire. I have never dealt with such a miserable host, put a big damper on our experience. I’d recommend the campsite instead or the cabin at dore lake lodge if you want to stay at this lake, very friendly and helpful staff!

We absolutely loved our trip! Darcy and Rose went above and beyond what was expected and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The cabins were extremely clean and taken care of and it's obvious they take pride in providing their clients the best experience. We are more than excited to plan our next trip there! 🙂

Darcy is a alcoholic. All they do is is drink all day and forget about reservations. When we showed up to get our cabin they totally forgot about it even though we called the day before to confirm and they said yes. We show up and we disrupted them from their drink table and they say we didn’t have one. 7 hour drive to get there. Plus they wouldn’t refund. Don’t ever bother dealing with this place.

Darcy and Rose are very kind and helpful. Cabins were spotless. We wanna thank you so very much for a wonderful weekend. We also caught some BIG fish. It was amazing.

The best cabin ever!!! Very clean!! The view from your deck , is the lake , soooo awesome! We will definitely go again

Don’t bother staying there , we went for a walk and the owner Darcy threatened to grab his gun and deal with our dog. That it’s private property. No signs posted. Our dog was on a leash and his dog came running at ours. We also spoke to others staying at the campground near the cabins and he was yelling at their children. Michel point campground is where to go very friendly owners .

What a time Pam and I had at Michel Lodge on beautiful Dore Lake Saskatchewan. A hidden gem, just waiting to be explored. Rose and Darcy; owners of Michel Lodge were amazing, friendly, down to earth and their hospitality second to none. The cabins were clean, the shower was amazing and I'm already planning my second trip back with hopes of catching the Lunker that got away.
