I had a legal issue from a ex employer, and Michael helped me through everything I was asking and also made sure I stayed on track as not to waste my time and money. He was extremely helpful in my consultation. And then when I was in the midst of settling Michael gave me a 20 min free consult to ask questions about the offer and walked me through it. I filled a complaint with he Alberta Human Rights Commission 2.5 years ago. I was initially advised that there was a backlog, but my complaint would be assigned to an investigator. I waited patiently while seeking advice from 4 different lawyers before settling with one. Then unexpectedly, through counsel, I learned my matter would be sent to the Director for a decision. I had 30 days to submit ALL relevant information for a decision to be made. The onus of the investigation, after a policy change, was now placed squarely on my shoulders. I knew I needed help. On good advice I reached out to Michael. Not only did Michael work to give me advice in a timely matter so that I had some hope in meeting the impossible timelines imposed on me but he also provided very detailed and exhaustive advice. With very limited time I had meetings and a copy of this thoughts by end of week providing me the weekend to get a response together. It was so through my original lawyer suggested that I switch counsel to Michael commenting how thorough the advice was. From my experience on Alberta Human Rights matters Michael DeRosenroll really is a subject matter expert.

Our family is very grateful to Michael's team for their assistance with our case with an underpaid severance pay.
