So my son is going to mail it now to take his driver's license twice. First time he had a lady instructor who instructed him on how to drive one way this time around. He has a male instructor young fella instruction one how to drive a completely different way. I think that the registries need to get their minds made up as to which way to teach people on how to drive kind of messes with a kid as he's just learning how to drive

Over a few years I asked this location for information for my vehicles and the information I received was incorrect. It didn't make sense to me so I contacted another registry and got the correct answers. This location needs to keep up-to-date.

Millet Registry Office:

I've tried using the Millet Registry Office multiple times, but each experience has been frustrating. The staff often respond in a roundabout manner, making it difficult to get clear answers. Instead of direct assistance, I’m often met with vague responses or told they can't help.
I suspect I'm not alone in feeling this way, and it would be interesting to compare their productivity statistics with those of other Registry Offices. The issue doesn’t seem to be the lack of foot traffic, but rather the approach of the staff.

I wouldn’t waist your time going in, go to Leduc or Wetaskiwin as they are way more positive and friendly.

Raj gave me some great pointers during one of my attempts at passing my Class 5 that assisted me in my future test! He helped me acknowledge and understand my mistakes.
Definitely recommend booking your test with him!

If you're expecting a registry office where the lines are long and the staff are miserable, you'll be pleasantly surprised because the Millet registry office is not like that at all. Wait lines are short or non-existent. The staff are so friendly and helpful you'll have to check that you're actually in a registry office. This is just one more reason that small towns like Millet are so great.

Went in needing help with multiple things. The attendant was super helpful, patient and kind, and went above and beyond. We got all the things we needed to done in a timely manner. Will be my go to registry now. I usually go to Leduc.

What happened to this place. You have signs all over about zero tolerance. Yet the amount of disrespect shown and the rude attitude when being spoken to. I've never had this problem dealing with Maria here for 10 years. These other ladies are despicable.

If I could give 0 stars I would....seems these people and the drivers training program have their wires crossed. My daughter had the displeasure of dealing with both. In what world do they teach you one thing in a training class only to have the people who test you tell you on the road mid-test that they taught you wrong and fail you. Do these people just make up rules on the fly? In what world do they teach you that at a stop sign, if there's no stop line, you are to stop AFTER the stop sign and that if you stop for 3 seconds you're wrong? I got a ticket in 2001 for $120 for NOT stopping at a stop sign for 3 seconds, something drivers training says to do. But the registry chick comes up with this other bogus "new rule"? The AMA website even states: "If there is no stop line, stop before the marked crosswalk. If there is no stop line or marked crosswalk at the intersection, you must stop within three metres of the intersecting roadway. Once stopped, scan the intersection for pedestrians and other road users". I've worked in construction for 15 years and I'd love for someone to point out any stop sign that's more than 10.5 feet away from the intersection, of almost ANY intersection that is, excluding maybe along a highway or something. So pull out past the stop sign guys...that's the safest way to do it, the registry even thinks so themselves. What a load. And if you don't stop for 3 seconds, I'm pretty sure that's called a YIELD if I'm not mistaken. And apparently, everything was good except because someone is cautious and didn't turn onto a HIGHWAY from a stop sign when she didn't think it was quite safe yet and some @$$#0!_€ HONKS THEIR HORN AT YOU, apparently that's a reason to fail you. What a joke. So if you have a driving test coming up, go somewhere else or let loose and get wild. Whatever you do, don't be cautious, just pull out into highway traffic with your eyes closed so you don't hold up the guy behind you that can't spare 15 more seconds of his life....maybe you'll pass.
